Old San Juan is great. If you have kids take them to pigeon park and explore the forts. Outside of Old San Juan, El Yunque national park is great for a day. El Camuy caves are also really cool. There’s tons of great beaches all around the island. Stay somewhere central so you can get to the places you want to go to quicker.
