He was a career 48% passer coming out of tiny Morehead St. His senior year he threw for 1229 yds, 53.2% completion, 6 TD's and 11 INT's and yet Bill Walsh wanted to draft him ahead of Joe Montana that year (Giants took him #7 overall). Super Bowl MVP, 2x Super Bowl winner (still holds the Super Bowl game record for highest completion pct at 88%), Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro, 15 yr career with the Giants, etc.
