I wish that would have an impact on his draft stock a little, but it won't.
It's obvious what he was after just a few minutes of watching him. Early on during last season, it was evident to me that he was in the top tier of BYU QBs ever. It wasn't about the competition. It was about the stuff that has nothing to do with competition.
For example, a covered receiver is a covered receiver. A throw from one hashmark to the far sideline that barely gets above head level is the same throw regardless of the competition.
