Baseball needs a salary cap in the worst way. Selig’s efforts to share revenue,

tax payrolls, etc. narrowed the gap somewhat, but outside of the 3 or 4 teams that can perennially contend, a rebuild is always right around the corner which may or may not work out.

The NFL figured this out a long time ago, but the MLBPA will never allow it.

Both the NFL and MLB have had 13 different champions. So both models are working
