Did it twice to VA from Utah. Once I busted it out in 3 days.
Stayed in KC first day, WV second day.
The second time I made a nice trip of it and took a week. Drove south and spend some nights in Taos, Austin, Houston, Nola, ATL, Charlotte.
I loved the second trip. First one sucked.

Anyone ever made the drive from Utah to the east coast (Virginia)?

4 days is reasonable, 3 if you’re hustling

Not a huge hurry. Wife is going with me and will fly home. Any recommendations

Depending on where you’re ending up, might want to turn north at Knoxville

Asheville is a beautiful. Nice rest area. You can avoid Highway 81 too

I got paid to do it in Chevy Malibu once. I only had to pay for gas, food, hotel

Sounds like it was practically a “free trip”

I love the variety of people on CB. We're such weirdos.

Did Utah to NC in about two days. Are you talking about the WV tolls?

There’s always a way to pay tolls. Some places will now just take a picture

I wouldn't worry about toll roads, you can just drive through them.

My rule of thumb is take the googlemap time estimate and divide it by 12. That’s
