Ironically in a lot of markets, yes. Utah, no.
Utah's median household income is actually moving downward. The new tech jobs coming in to the state appear to be far outpaced by lower income service industry jobs. For whatever reason, if you are not in tech in Utah you are far less likely to get paid enough to keep pace.
Several other states are seeing the median income line move sharply upwards however even with less crazy housing markets than Utah. It is really a head scratcher.

Utah is still 30% or more cheaper in housing than California. That said, Utah had a YoY increase in wages

Not close. Last year I looked into a job at a newly listed public tech company in Utah - would be a 65%+ pay cut.

Again, show me where you are seeing that data. Before 2020 Utah was increasing, it decreased in 2020
