Median salaries is not what underwriters use and is less relevant.
After all it is the entire income of the household that will be purchasing the home. In the context of being able to buy a HOME median HOUSEhold income is the relevant metric. Discussing salaries is a different matter and a very relevant metric for other uses.

Utah is still 30% or more cheaper in housing than California. That said, Utah had a YoY increase in wages
