This is the issue. EV and ICE trucks experience the same MPG loss when towing,

about 50%. The issue is it takes 30-40 minutes for the EV to fill up to 80%, but 5 minutes for the ICE. If you do a lot of long distance towing, an EV truck is not for you. Although reviewers do say the actual driving experience while towing is better in the EV.
