I'm not sure why they don't allow it but I'm guessing it has to do with both
maturity levels and the fact that kids this age should just have fun in sports. Let them deal with that pressure when they get a bit older.

Totally agree. But there are kids, and a lot of them, that would die to play varsity as an 8th grader over the idea of
