I grew up in Colorado; served a mission in western New York, and live in Utah. I had the misfortune of driving home during the first storm of the year here this year. It was silly. Cars on I-15 were either going 5 mph, or driving like idiots in the HOV lane at 70.
As I drove in the HOV lane at 70, I couldn't help but notice a lot of the 5 mph drivers leaned forward, almost to the windshield, gripping their steering wheels in a death grip. Honestly, it felt unsafe. At my speed, there is no way I would be able to stop if one of those fools made any sudden moves.
