and was 30 seconds behind the leader. Not only did they comeback, they won resoundingly...I don't know how that happens but there is a video embedded in the link below.

Agreed. It was maybe 30m, but certainly not 30 seconds. Still an insane performance.

Yeah, she fell at 32.8 sec & roughly 250m into her 400m. For them to be behind by 30 sec, she would have had to remain

Very cool, but can someone explain the rule of you depart your lane? When she fell she appears to have left the lane.

They had already passed the merge point so there weren’t lanes anymore.

What about the inside edge of the track? She went even beyond the first lane. Does that not matter?

I believe if you fall down and don’t gain an advantage by being off the track, you will not be DQ’d.

IN 4x400, you only have lane assignments at the start and on exchanges.
