I'm concerned their pivot to becoming a "national" basketball conference means we may have a bunch of basketball schools sitting on islands scattered across the nation. I can't imagine what Gonzaga travel will be like for all their sports. BYU has a regional school added to their neighborhood, but does the Big12 overall get spread too thin? Does this become the Big12's inverse weakness?
