Would be fine if he was a blocking TE, but he definitely is not. I don't think

I'm not surprised. The dude is slooow. He looked almost geriatric last year.

Which is why I never understood all the bubble screens to him. I never

That ties into Roderick's incompetence. It's really time for that guy to go.

So the before his injury, and he looked like a pro, who was calling the plays?

So last year, which is more recent, Rex looked completely outclassed and

That's right. And now he needs to go. I'm ready for someone else. I think a lot

Wasn't Clark the coach that was trusted to develop and promote the best TE

Just a couple of years ago, he was brilliant. Everybody discounts the circumstances of BYU football over the last decade

Me as I see this while also seeing Dallin Holler’s success last season:

And we coronated him over Dallin Holker. No wonder he couldn’t get open.

He looked very slow last season.

He was definitely faster before the injury

Not much, he has always been slower. He just had a lot of TDs against crap

Mar 29, 11:08am
He was never speedy but I do believe he was slower after the ankle mess.

I'll admit I was wrong with Rex. I thought he was going to be the next Pitta but he pretty much regressed every year

Pretty major injury got in the way of that. Amazing he's returned to any form at all.

Mar 29, 10:37am
The point still stands. He regressed every year and BYU let an NFL TE like Holker get away.

If only we could all be loved & worshiped the way Holker is by some on CB.... sigh.

It’s not great but 3 TEs were worse at B12 pro day and 6 better.
NewBYUfannonLDS
Mar 29, 10:38am
And yet, still about middle of the pack with those guys. Which is of course why they are all at the Big 12 pro day

I believe Holker had slowest time at Combine for TEs with 4.78

I definitely had our receiving TE running 0.4 seconds slower than our immobile
