Why does it make it easier? If you just had a flat rate tax on all realized
income for a given year, wouldn’t it be harder to avoid taxes?
I feel like complexities in the law is what makes it so some can pay no taxes while others get hammered.
And the fact that you can determine how “aggressive” you’re going to be in filing taxes is just stupid.

If you simplify the tax code then you just make it easier to avoid taxes. The only real way to fix it is to get rid of
