HC's that need strong assistants are NOT a winning plan for BYU. Ever. Kalani is more than enough on that.

Yeah. But BYU can't afford them. We at least need an HC competent enough to go get the under-the-radar guys

Well it sure seems as though Dave Rose and Mark Pope "needed" strong assistants in Fueger, Burgess, and Pope.
