of sports. Often, the grass is not greener on the other side. A personal example: In the late '80s, my husband was making $90,000+/year here in Utah (pretty good money then); all 6 of our children were still at home; and he got an offer to go to Dallas to work for Frito Lay, for nearly 2.5 times what he was making here. Long story, but my husband and I were leaning toward moving to Dallas; but when our teenage daughter said, "Money isn't everything," that was the deciding factor. We ended up staying in Utah. My point is that we have had SO MANY wonderful experiences that we would have never had in Dallas, and that have made a huge difference in our family's life, we are so grateful that our daughter spoke up and said, "Money isn't everything."
I'm a firm believer that, often, money isn't everything.
