and are most likely not top tier QBs. I believe there are QBs on the roster that can lead BYU to a bowl game this season, but I don’t see these QBs propelling BYU to the top third of the B12 this year or next.

I believe Bohannon would be the no doubt starter for BYU but unfortunately he had a serious injury. I don’t know for sure that he won’t regain 2022 form and kill it this season, but I have opinion which is based on a few factors.

Reconstructive labrum surgery is very serious for QBs and pitchers in baseball, much more serious than Tommy John surgery.

Many media outlets / media members have stated that Bohannon didn’t look good in spring. Had issues with accuracy but more concerning arm strength.

Three weeks after spring practices BYU brings in another QB with 10 QBs already on the roster.

I will be rooting for Bohannon as well as any other QB for BYU and I hope I’m wrong and Bohannon kills it this year, but the factors above lead me to believe there are doubts that he will be the starter or regain his form from 2022.
