The artistic license he takes with the time, as well as the embarrassingly inaccurate/small scale he portrays the event, was a huge disservice to the story. And the stupid single-note soundtrack that is supposed to mean…something. He made the movie more about himself than he did the actual story. So incredibly pretentious.
Like a rotten banana peel nailed to a board that pretentious artists tell me I just need to squint at a little more to find the true meaning.
