Buy country style ribs without bones.
I sear the ribs in a barbecue in all sides.
I slice one whole onion and cook in butter in a skillet until translucent. Put the onion in the bottom of the Dutch oven.
Place the seared ribs in the Dutch oven.
Cover with about 6 cups of homemade bbq sauce. I use about 3-4 cups ketchup and put about 2 cups of sugar, about a cup of Worcestershire sauce and about half a cup of Tabasco sauce. I just do it to taste.
I put about 10-15 briquettes under and about 15 or so on top. I cook them for about 2-3 hours until they fall apart. I usually turn them once during a cook.
