14.0 120 yd. high hurdles; 52.0 440 yd. intermediate...had to extrapolate
I lost to Golden Richards in the state finals in 1969 in hurdles. Not sure why he ran hurdles too, but he was fast.
I lost to Ralph Mann who was the world record holder at the time in 440 intermediate hurdles when he was at BYU and I was at USU. He beat me by 40 yards, but my time was 52.0....he was closer to 48.0. Man that was such a long time ago. Moorer23 can verify that I was a sprinter in college...one of the secretaries somehow got a picture of me hurdling which had been in the Herald. Now I can barely move....wish I was still fast.
