My Roth 401k is with Vanguard, and they offer Managed Account Program. There's an annual fee of $60 and a program fee of no more than 0.4%. My account now is just a mix of a target fund, an international fund, and the Vanguard Institutional Index fund and it's done well (but everything has done well recently). I'm wondering if it's worth the money or if it wouldn't make much of a difference since I'm not investing tons of money? I also worried about possible tax implications if they're actively managing the account, but maybe that doesn't apply since it's a 401k.
Have any of you used a managed account option for your retirement accounts? Did you notice much of a difference on your returns?
