It was a day later. no one asked him to, he released a statement that he...

had handwritten by himself that night because he felt bad. It was released to the public, but guess what, the media ignored it and ran with it for months!! That's the nature and the sick and twistedness of the media, they take what they want and run with it, even if it isn't in accordance with the truth.
