I guess I shouldn't be since they are really great dogs but it seems like each dog discussion I see flushes out another GSP owner I didn't know about before.

I don't use mine for hunting, more because I haven't take the opportunity to do so, not because I am opposed to hunting. My wife and I are pretty sure she got training as a pup but once we got her at 5 months we didn't continue or pursue it further. Now she's 9 and hitting that window where GSPs can go at anytme, luckily she is still healthy and spry. She's been a great dog.
