His dad was a fan favorite. I went to a game vs UNM in Albuquerque

back then and Randy was very engaging with the BYU fans. I recall he would let some young BYU fans touch the barrel of his bat for good luck before he went up to the plate. He was very good player with a quick bat. He got as high as AAA but never saw the bigs.
