I loved it. My favorite movie of 2013 but
I'm a huge fan of the books and it was fun to see how they followed it and took liberties. I can't wait to see it again.

True Tolkien nuts don't watch the movie on blue-ray 120 days after release.

It's true, the true fans saw it in theaters and have since gone extinct

Yeah.. that's what I felt like. Nothing is going on. Just spinning wheels

You don't think a spinning barrel with a fat dwarf in it could kill ~100 orc?

But putting on a ring that makes one disappear is logical. It's a fantasy movie.

I can't believe the movie about hobbits and dragons was unrealistic

LoL... I know what you are saying but compared to LOTR the CGI was just

I watched it today. Odd...most movies based on a book leave out chunks

That was exactly my thought when I saw the first one. Haven't seen #2 yet.

It took me 5 nights to watch it all the way through. Kept falling asleep.

It is just a bunch of actions scenes strung together

The Hobbit movies are a money grab, nowhere near at good as the LOTR trilogy
