As a result he made a great effort to still get into a position to make a play that was usually going away from him which might also be a strong contributing factor in his having to dive and make a number of those TFL's.
In the NFL he won't be the main focus of the OL nor will opposing OC's run most of their plays away from him so maybe he'll be in a better position to make tackles without having to dive at ankles. Just a thought...
