After reading the account in "The System", I doubt that it was consensual
There was a lot more info there than ever made it into the news (mostly because people were more willing to open up with the legal proceedings finished and with the passage of time).
I'm not saying I think the jury should have convicted--I don't think there was enough evidence for that. I'm saying there was enough evidence that I now believe it's more likely the girl was raped.
