I serve in the YM Pres. Derrick is a Great kid. His parents are good people.

Talked to Derrick more than once about BYU and SEC offers. Would be great if BYU lands Derrick, but he likes SEC schools too.

Derrick is 6'4" and commented that looked about 260. He says 'No sir, I'm 280'...LOL. So I say, maybe you project to DT in college? His response....'No Sir, I wanna play DE and get after Quarterbacks'...LOL

BTW, Derrick has a younger brother who may be even more athletic...think Terrance Hooks body type. Funny story, my wife used to teach Cameron Brown and gave him a CTR ring. He tried it on, way too small. Cameron a few years ago was literally twice the height of the other boys in the Primary Class. The Brown Boys do go to BYU football camp, so that might help a lot, we'll see.

Coach Holliday could be factor, we'll see....definitely can't hurt.
