Actually, Matt DIDN'T say that. That was the reporter summarizing. This
is what he quotes Matt as saying:
"I had a really good experience at BYU, but I left for a reason," Carlino said. "I wasn't fully happy with the basketball situation. I wanted to give myself a better opportunity for my final year."
Nothing wrong with that. Wish him the best...but I'm glad he's gone. Honestly, if he wants to succeed at Marquette he'll have to work on the same problems he never could master while at Provo.
Hopefully he can drop his dreams of being an unguardable scorer, & just focus on being the solid PG he's capable of being. If he can't do that, I guarantee Wojo & Milwaukee end up on his ever-growing list of tough memories.
