My site never goes down, but I do wish it was a little faster. That might be due to other factors though.

Have you tried Blue Host? They're local and supposedly pretty good.

How much traffic do you get? Do you have a dedicated server or is it shared?

It's shared, and I interact with the server a lot

There is Bluehost, and there's GoDaddy. There's not much else.
