Besides, Texas and Louisville would probably have also been taken instead of Utah behind them.
And in all fairness Utah beat T A&M by 20, AZ by 17, UNC by 30, and BYU by 31. It wasn't like we were squeaking by that year. AZ was our closest win BY SEVENTEEN!
But really compare the best of the schedules:
BYU 2014: UCONN, Texas, Virginia, UCF, Utah State, Boise, and Cal.
Utah 2008: #24 Michigan, Utah State, Oregon State, #11 TCU, #14 BYU
Utah 2004: Texas A&M, Arizona, Utah State, UNC, and BYU
I think Utah's were by far more difficult. Just my opinion though....
