Maybe he didn't want the attention but realized the patriotic impact it could have on 64,999 people in the audience. I know it added to the spirit of the moment for me. The video, the huge flag, etc. was enough for me but I liked the reunion of the family. I assume he sees the big picture and didn't do it for his own fame. Nobody is going to ever recognize him for it. But many will remember feelings they had during that event. I am glad he was willing to share that private moment with all of us.
