I witnessed the whole scene after the game, and it wasn't our finest moments as Coug fans. Honestly, I am the last guy in the world, to typically care about trash talking, but it went too far with the situation after the game. I was fine with giving him a hard time, at first, but then it got out of hand to the point that the fans were yelling things to a person that could not fight back. He had to be restrained and pushed into the locker room, by coaches and teammates, while fans kept it up. I laughed at first, until I got closer and heard some of the stuff being said to the guy, that went way beyond the football field. The fans yelling at that guy, would never dared yell the same stuff, if it was just the 2 of them walking down the street, with nobody to stop him. There is trash talking, and then there is just making yourself look foolish. The same could be said of many of the UVA fans, at the start of the game, that were sitting near where my season tickets are. They were yelling some pretty crazy stuff, and started the chant of overrated. There was one episode in the first quarter, where I nearly shut one of the loud mouths up.(Thanks to my wife, I didn't) It was after a fan yelled something about Taysom being overrated and even his wives would agree. Thanks to a wife, that is a huge sports fan, I was reminded that winning shuts everyone up. Nothing felt better, than seeing Taysom shut that fan up, and seeing him walk out early.
