Yes, we would get more money being part of a conference. Who cares? Money isn't high on BYU's priority list.

What we really want is scheduling, bowl access, to be treated like a P5 team, and NOT be beholden to idiot decisions that conference cronies often make. Keep our independence + all the advantages of P5 membership (minus the conference TV payout, yes) would be ideal for us.

2) Outright P5 membership in the P2+10 or the Big12 without having to make major compromises is next in best situation.

3) Any other P5 membership with minor compromises.

4) Current Indy Status vs. P5 membership with compromises -- depends on what the compromises are

5) Going to a G5 conference -- no way this makes sense.
