I have seen huge improvements in our OL, especially considering how young it is. I think that he has done a really good job. Every OL is going to have some penalties.
But look at his record as a head coach at COC. His record looks good by itself, but it looks very poor when compared with his predecessor.
"Tujague spent six seasons as the head coach of the COC football program and led the Cougars to a 43-25 record, which included five invitations to post-season bowl games and a conference championship in 2008. Under his leadership, Tujague produced 33 first-team all-conference players, three conference players of the year, eight all-state honorees, one all-state player of the year and five Junior College All-Americans. Sounds good right? Now look at his predecessor Chuck Lyon and consider the program 2J inherited and what he did in 6 years.
"Chuck Lyon led the football team from 1998-2006. He helped the program win its first and only national and state championship in 2004, while going a perfect 14-0. Following the an epic run to the state and national championship, Lyon was named the National Community College Football Coach of the Year. Lyon won six consecutive Western State Conference Championships from 2000-05 and led the team to eight bowl games during his tenure. He finished his head coaching career with an 85-20 record."

The program obviously took a major step back under 2J. He had 5 more losses than his predecessor despite coaching 2 seasons less. COC went from a NC 2 years earlier and 6 consecutive Conference Championships the year before 2J took over to 1 conference championship in 6 years under 2J.
