Bronco should say: "I take much less in pay than other Division One coaches because I refuse to put in the same amount of time to have a nationally recognized program that competes for national championships." Just be honest about it and . . . take less money.

One thing I loved about the Navy coach segment of "Meet the Mormons" was the fact that while he took Sunday off, he was at the office by 4:00 am the next day. Obviously, there has to be balance. I just don't understand why Bronco likes to pat himself on the back about it, as though it gives him and his team an advantage. Every time Bronco has done that, it seems some teams then come along and kick BYU's butt . . . where coaches willing to work harder to actually get their players to "execute at a higher level" instead of just talking about it.
