Bronco doesn't use all the practices allotted for bowl games, but he very seldom if ever practices fewer than the normal amount of days for single game preparation. There's no way he would only practice 3 or even 4 days before Cal, with or without the holiday. The unused bowl game practices always occur in the beginning of the schedule, never leading up to game day. For a bowl game, there is always more than 5 practices, usually 10 or more for a single game.
