Here's a hypothetical to illustrate
When you go through and find every team with a higher Sagarin rating than 2014 Texas and that has beaten us in the past 10 years, you're going to have a list of the best teams that we have lost to since Bronco became the head coach. Let's say there are 15 such teams. What would a reasonable record be against those teams? Definitely not 0-15, but definitely not 15-0, either. So, what, 8-7? If it's 8-7, then Texas would drop out of the top 10, and your point would be made, especially if at least 3 of those were road games.

On the surface, your argument is lacking because there is no frame of reference for how many opportunities we've had in the past 10 years to beat teams more highly rated than this year's Texas team. If it's just a few, then it's perfectly natural and acceptable for this year's Texas win to be in Bronco's top 10. If it's a lot, then it is, as you say, a symptom of a problem.
