That list is telling: Alabama, LSU, NDame, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma...all huge programs, and they cycle through even good coaches these days.

The others on your list are either not that long-serving (even while being noteworthy) or served a very long time ago.

The one exception Galiardi ...

I think all in all, coaches are much more transient these days, much in the way we worker bees of the world are more transient than we were 50 years ago.
