And you don't understand the economics of sports.
Broadcast money is so much bigger than Ticket sales. Even if BYU fans filled every away arena they played at its nothing compared to The revenue from TV deals. You visit an opponent at most every other year in football and once a year in basketball. There's a conference championship game and tournament. That's like 18 events per year. That BYU fans would have an impact. There are 54 conference games in Football. There are over 100 conference basketball games. Who cares if BYU fans show up for 18 events? The answer is nobody that matters. Now if BYU meant they could demand money for the P12 network in the Las Vegas or Houston or Dallas then TH's phone would ring, but BYU delivers the Wasatch. They had a choice. They made it. It hasn't hurt their bottom line.
