We've all had good opportunities available to us both in Utah and elsewhere. I don't think you'll find much of a tangible difference between the two -- the coursework and requirements for completing the degree are roughly similar at both schools. UVU is a bit more convenient for people who want to work while going to school. BYU is likely better preparation if you want to later pursue a graduate degree in computer science.
What's really going to matter is how well you do in your first job. The market is so freeflowing right now that you're not likely to struggle to find a job coming out of either school. Just kick butt at your first job and anything before that won't really matter.
