For about the first 2-3 times running. You'll find that your calves are
a little more sore than usual until they get used to it. I would decreased your mileage the first few times because you'll be working those muscles a bit differently. They have a little guide in the box for getting used to them. I did the 2012 St. George marathon in them and loved them.
