It was at least tolerable my JR year because my coach wasn't an idiot and realized that all of us on the team had similar skill sets and not one of us was a true center, so he let me shoot jumpers and even threes when I was wide open. I remember one game where me and the other starting low post kept us in the game in the first half with our 3 pt shooting and we ended up winning on a last second mid-range jumper miss by the other team that toilet bowled out. That was fun.
He even let me guard the guards on D on occasion (I was one of the better defenders on that team). Whenever I got lined up against Fatty McCenter, I knew it was going to be a long night, though.
SR year was a complete disaster. The coach was a moron. Tagged me as a Center and didn't know how to use my real skillset at all. To top it off, I went from starting JV my JR year to coming off the bench on JV my SR year. Didn't even really get a lot of minutes. The coach didn't like Mormons, and his son HATED me (he was a punk and told him so when occasion required). I should have at least gotten some minutes on Varsity, but I wasn't a very good Center, so...
