Based on the reviews that I've read, it seems customer service is terrible
People seemed to have issues with getting the original lender paid, and they ended up making payments both to the original lender as well as SoFi.

did you look at SoFi? I looked and their rates were slightly higher than SoFi

I have friends who've used SoFi. Lower interest rate, but much less flexible
