Utah, for whatever reason, always looks more prepared. They want it more. Just watching on TV you can tell they just stay focused and execute. They do what my old coach used to say. "Find a way to get it done. Just find a way." Now, some games have come down to the wire, some with stupid ref calls along the way, etc. But the previous points still stand. Sometimes it comes down to bad luck in the end, but you always have to play YOUR game and can't let things come down to "luck" swaying one way or the other.
I don't know the real answer to 2 but I think there are a few parts to the answer:
Recruiting has only picked up the last two seasons. We've had poor depth for a few years on one side of the ball or the other.
Bronco hasn't hired well and has had to focus on one side or the other because his coaching hires can't get their jobs done.
3. BYU basketball has a focus on offense and not defense. They've also lacked important depth a number of years.
4. Rose recruited a certain type of player and doesn't spread out much to search for other talent. But Mika, Dastrup, Aytes, Davis, Kaufusi, possibly Hartsock later on, none of them will be scrawny guys.
5. Didn't we just land the #1 kicker in the nation? That should help in the future. Hopefully.
6. Why do you care. It's not hurting you or anything else and the complaints, if people would sit back and really look at what they're complaining about, are ridiculous and just "something to whine about." Nature of fans I guess.
