At the basics the Beetle drive-train is rear-engined, rwd with no traction

control and proper pedals and weighs hardly anything. Even at 1600CC it would be a more engaging driving experience than 80% of the vehicles on the road today.

Throw on a 1952 roadster body, grab yourself the proper hat and driving gloves and you'll have nothing to be ashamed of.

It would be a hoot!
