I don't think so
I think of the elite West teams, only San Antonio will significantly decline in the next 5 years, once Duncan and Pop retire. Golden State is young and talented. I feel that Golden State plays a style that is attractive to players and is a much better destination than SLC. OKC is young still. They could lose Durant, but Westbrook is still talented enough to carry a team. Plus if they keep Durant (he says he wants to stay) and he gets healthy again they will return to the top of the Western Conf. Houston is all in and have a team that could stick around for the next 5 years. Portland is young and isn't going anywhere. That's not even counting the Clippers. I think the Jazz could compete for a top 4-5 spot if they continue to develop and play defense like they are. However, I think there are too many teams with better talent they would have to jump to win the West.
