56 of BYUs drafted players were drafted after the 7th round. Since 87 (Shawn Knight, Jason Buck) BYU has had three players go in the 1st round and 4 players in the 2nd round. Even Detmer would have been undrafted in the current system since he went in the 8th round.

So basically, our draft numbers are pretty much the same across the years except for the stretch from Nelson to Bosco. And those QBs undoubtedly increased the draft stock of other players on the team.
