It's that simple. BYU isn't even getting the top LDS talent in most sports. It is, however, succeeding in recruiting and retaining the services of some very, very talented people throughout the rest of the athletic department.

That nobody cares about the world class, bang up job the rest of the AD is doing is a little sad. While the U seems to absolutely throttle us in every major sport, our marketing, broadcast and design teams absolutely put theirs to shame. It's too bad our sports teams can't perform at the same level.
