The potential savings for the warriors this year is huge - $46M

If they do the flex provision on Wallace (as his contract is under the newest CBA unlike Lee) they will save $46.5M this season (104.3 vs 150.8). The other two-thirds of Wallace 2015-2016 salary will leak into the next two years (~$3M each year), but by then the salary cap will be a lot higher so less risk of luxury taxes.
